Live event paintings are an entertaining performance for your guests combined with an investment in a unique work of art commemorating your event.
Read through some frequently asked questions about live event painting services and look through a gallery of more than 65 examples of my live event paintings below.
How much do live paintings cost? It varies based on the cost of materials, the number of portraits and the level of detail desired. Visit my pricing page to see the cost for the type of painting you are intertested in.
How long will it take to complete my painting? Like pricing, speed depends on the size of the canvas, the number of portraits and the level of complexity. For example, a painting of the bride and groom only in the abstract or semi-impressionistic style is usually finihsed the night of the reception, while a realisitc painting of the brdie and groom plus 20 guests will be started at the reception and finished in the studio. Paintings are completed in chronological order. Turn around is usually 6-8 weeks per painting, though this will be a bit longer during peak times.
How do I reserve my date and pay for my painting? A 25% nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve your date. 50% of the remaining cost is due halfway between your deposit and the event. The final payment is due the week of the event. Payments can be broken down into smaller increments if desired. Payments accepted are Venmo (preferred), PayPal, Zelle, check or cash.
Who will be in the painting? Every live event painting includes the bride and groom. I can also include the bridal party, guests, entertainers, family pets, departed loved ones, or guests not able to attend the wedding. Additional portraits are added for an additional fee, depending on the level of detail desired. I price these in packages of 10, which you can see in detail on my pricing page.
Can I include people who aren't at my event? Yes! I can include people, pets, departed loved ones, and much more to customize your painting to your vision.
